Glorious farm country, breadbasket of my province, just on the edge of land that gets too hilly to cultivate. The Valley below us produces the MOST delicious honey I’ve ever tasted. My OH my. You know the kind you’d have when you were little, the kind that your grandmother would force feed you on a tablespoon when you had a terrible cough? My years of honey trauma are over. Now I delight in it.

Here’s what you should do: go get the best unpasteurized honey you can find. Bake some bread (sourdough is my personal favourite).  Slap some butter on it, followed by the honey. Sip a tea. ENJOY.

That’s a recipe for a fabulous mid-afternoon snack, RIGHT THERE.
